Hampshire County Youth Orchestra
Full symphony orchestra with around 100 players. Performances include core symphonic repertoire, new commissions as well as concertos and scores from film and stage.

Hampshire County Youth Chamber Orchestra
Members of our Chamber Orchestra are all part of the Hampshire County Youth Orchestra. Membership is by invitation after annual audition. The orchestra concentrates on Classical and Baroque repertoire which includes study of performance practice. The orchestra has a set of natural trumpets and horns. Additional chamber music ensembles for wind are also a regular feature of the Chamber Orchestra.

Hampshire County Youth String Orchestra
The Hampshire County Youth String Orchestra is an ensemble in its own right. Most string players will start in this ensemble which offers excellent learning opportunities for young players to experience ensemble playing and improve technique.

String Orchestra – Bryanston April 2023
Hampshire Youth Percussion Ensemble (HYPE)
HYPE members all play in the Hampshire County Youth Orchestra. Percussion ensemble repertoire is learned during orchestra sectional sessions with percussion tutor Paul Lovegrove. The aim of the ensemble is to give percussionists as much learning opportunities as other sections of the orchestra. HYPE perform in regular Hampshire Music Service events during the year.
