Biennially, the musicians of the Hampshire County Youth Orchestra are given the opportunity to experience a musically and culturally enriching overseas tour. The orchestra’s tour to France and Spain in July 2022 will provide an opportunity to experience the history and culture of the Angers and Saumur region of the Loire, before travelling further south, crossing into the Basque region of Spain and experiencing Bilbao and San Sebastian. This is a wonderful opportunity to rehearse and perform five concerts to new audiences in settings as diverse as festival stages to castles and cathedrals.
