The Friends of the Hampshire County Youth Orchestra reply upon the kind donations from parents, ex-members and many other supporters to help us raise funds to support the residential training at Bryanston, overseas tours and local concerts. UK tax payers can maximise their contributions by completing a Gift Aid declaration which enables the Friends to claim a further 25% from HM Revenue & Customs.
In 2015/16, charities benefited from £1.3bn in Gift Aid, which HM Revenue & Customs paid to charities. This has helped them to continue to do their good work.
Only a small percentage of people who give to FHCYO have signed up for Gift Aid. To help us benefit, please complete a Gift Aid form and email to treasurer.fhcyo@gmail.com
We can also claim Gift Aid from our bucket collections at concerts and busking! 21,300 charities claimed £26m via the Gift Aid Small Donations Scheme in 2015/16.
