800 Hampshire children and young people performed at the Royal Albert Hall on the evening of 23 November 2015 as part of the Music For Youth Proms!

The Hampshire County Youth Orchestra,
The Hampshire County Youth Band,
The Hampshire County Youth Choirs,
Wessex Dance Academy
and 23 Hampshire schools
…all did themselves proud performing Martin Read’s piece ‘Mary Rose’.
Two instrumental sections were added to the late composer’s original score by two previous Composition Hub Scholars – Catherine Upfold (ex HCYO) and Laura Jurd (jazz trumpet).
It was a great night celebrating musical youth talent from the United Kingdom and beyond!
