• Connor Lyster is conducting a free fundraising concert for HCYO! •


Connor Lyster, who has been with HCYO for many, many years in the percussion section, will be conducting a FREE concert on Saturday 9th September!

The Symphony Orchestra will consist of former HCYO players and staff, students from the Royal Northern College of Music, Royal College of Music, Trinity Laban College of Music, Guildhall School of Music and Drama, Manchester University, The Royal Marines Band Service and more!

This is a concert to raise money for the Hampshire County Youth Orchestra which has helped so many young musicians to develop and succeed!

The programme is:
Tchaikovsky – Romeo and Juliet Fantasy Overture
Mozart 3rd Horn Concerto
Brahms Symphony no 4

Whilst the concert is free, Connor is looking for donations to raise funds for HCYO. Please bring your money and give generously!

Connor will be beginning the next stage of his career at the Royal College of Music in September and we wish him every success.
